End-user sign up on a Gommo dealer site creates an account under that dealer’s registration domain. Integrators who embed signup in their own app call the same upstream auth/register path using merchant credentials on the server — never expose the merchant token in a browser.
The Gommo Developer docs site includes a built-in flow at /signup/ (same gateway proxy as Playground when using npm run docs:stack).
Playground
Playground — System → Register API (test) when running npm run docs:stack. Inspects JSON only; does not save a token or change Connection. Registration domain comes from the active dealer tenant on the server (not a form field). Requires GOMMO_ACCESS_TOKEN and GOMMO_MANAGER_ID in gateway .env.
Merchant credentials
POST …/auth/register always uses the dealer merchant access_token and manager_id server-side. Use POST /admin/users/register with x-admin-key for ops scripts, or POST /gateway/auth/register (JSON) for portal/self-host — not a public integrator curl with user Bearer.
POST https://api.gommo.net/api/apps/go-mmo/auth/register
Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
| Field | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|
email | yes | New user email |
password | yes | Min length enforced upstream (gateway validates ≥ 6) |
phone | yes | Contact phone |
name | optional | Display name |
note | optional | Internal note |
domain | yes | Registration domain (dealer tenant) |
manager_id, ref, access_token, expired_time | yes | Merchant / manager fields — server only |
On success upstream returns JSON including access_token for the new user. Treat success: false or HTTP ≥ 400 as failure.
→ Admin (server-only) for POST /admin/users/register
POST {gateway}/gateway/auth/register — no Bearer; JSON body:
{
"email": "[email protected]",
"password": "secret12",
"phone": "0900000000",
"name": "Optional name",
"note": ""
}Server fills domain, merchant token, and manager_id from env and tenant context. If merchant env is missing → 503 with a configuration message.
OpenAPI: openapi.yaml — /gateway/auth/register.
